SousChef Studio is designed as a 100% offline application.

  • No User Tracking: We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, analytics SDKs, or advertising networks.

  • No Data Sharing: Because we do not collect any user data, no data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties or external servers under any circumstances.

3. Device Permissions

The Application requests minimum hardware permissions solely to function as an interactive cooking companion on your device:

  • Keep Screen Awake (WAKE_LOCK): Keeps your screen active while you are following recipe steps so you do not have to touch the display with messy hands.

  • Audio & Notifications: Plays alert chimes locally on your device when active cooking timers elapse.

All settings and preferences (such as temperature scales, unit preferences, and timer states) are saved locally on your device and are never transmitted outside your local system.

4. Third-Party Services

The Application does not integrate any third-party APIs, software development kits (SDKs), advertising partners, or cloud storage solutions.

5. Children's Privacy

Because SousChef Studio does not collect any personal data, it complies fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) standards regarding minors. The app is safe for users of all ages.
